JOE DEMARCO: President & Chief Operations Officer

DeMarco started Elite Baseball in 2003. Prior to opening Elite Baseball, Joe was an assistant Coach at UCI from 2001-2003 where his responsibilities included; Roaming coach, assisted with offense, defense, pitchers and base running. He assisted in recruiting efforts, assisted in coaching efforts in practice and games, organized camp and served as head counselor at UCI Baseball School. Before coming to UCI DeMarco coached for two seasons at his Alma Mater, the University of Kansas. He was in charge of Infielders and Base Running. As a professional DeMarco Spent two seasons in the San Diego Padres organization as a member of the Peoria Padres and the Idaho Falls Braves. As a collegiate he had a standout career: Four-year letter winner, Smith Super Team Candidate, Big 12 Batting Title (.429), 1997 Mizuno All American, 1997 Team Captain and MVP, 1997 1st Team All-Big 12 Shortstop, 1996 1st Team All-Big 8 Shortstop, 1995 National Baseball Congress All-American. DeMarco oversees all Elite Baseball teams and Private instruction at Elite Baseball. DeMarco graduated with a degree in Communication Studies with an Emphasis in Business from Kansas University in May of 1997.  Joe is also currently a hitting consultant to numerous MLB players.

RYAN REINSEL: Pitching Coordinator & Player Development Director

Reinsel joined Elite Baseball in 2015 after moving from Cleveland, Ohio in August.  Ryan is the Elite Pitching instructor and assists with 8-14u levels of developmental teams and at Elite hitting sessions at UCI and Santa Ana.  In Ohio, Ryan coached 11u and 12u travel baseball teams for Diamond Boys Baseball Club out of Strike Force Baseball Facility in 2014 and 2015. He also gave individual lessons and group clinics in pitching, fielding, and hitting while working at Strike Force. Ryan attended the University of Akron while coaching and graduated with a BA in Fine Art Painting and Drawing in 2015. Prior to Akron, Ryan walked onto the Kent State University team in 2010 and transferred to Gordon College in Wenham, MA in 2012 and holds a record for most starts in a season (10) and started their only playoff game win that year.  After the season Ryan gave private instruction and coached the 12u and 16u team for Diamond 9 Development in Austintown, OH that summer. the Hudson Drillers 11u team. Ryan graduated from Hudson High in 2010 and was named All-Conference his senior year.

ZAK KNETTEL: Pitching Development & Athletic Performance

Knettel joined Elite in 2017 and he assists with 8-14u levels of developmental teams and during Elite hitting sessions at UCI and Santa Ana. Zak is in charge of Elite's Athletic Performance program and will assist with pitching instruction. Prior to Elite, Zak was the assisting pitching coordinator and JV head coach of Cardinal Gibbons HS in Raleigh, NC in 2016-2017. Knettel was in charge of pitching for the Kings Baseball Club in Hudson, OH from 2012 to 2015. Zak graduated from the University of Akron in 2015 with a BS degree in Athletic Training. While at Akron, Knettel played for the Zips baseball program and was a part of the pitching staff for the 2014 and 2015 seasons.

SEBASTION MILES: Player Development Staff

Miles joined Elite in 2015, he assists with 8-14u levels of developmental teams and during Elite hitting sessions at UCI and Santa Ana.  Prior coaching stint from 2011-13 as an assistant coach at College of the Canyons and 2014 at Hart High school. Sebastian or "Sebo"  was a former player at Hart,  he was part of the 2004 and 2005 squads as the first baseman.  As a player at College of the Canyons, Sebastian earned a full scholarship to play first base at North Dakota State where he was Academic All-Team and Honorable Mention Team. During his senior year, Sebastian led the Bison in all offensive categories highlighted by his .320 average and .340 in the Summit League. After college was over Sebastian signed with the Florida Marlins in 2010, he spent a season in the organization.  Sebastian spent 2010 at Concordia College in Minnesota as an assistant coach while receiving his Masters in Health, Nutrition, & Exercise Science from North Dakota State University. 

CLAY WILLIAMSON: Assistant Hitting Coordinator

Clay joined Elite in 2016 after being a student of the program for the last eight years. He will assist at the Elite hitting sessions at UCI and Santa Ana.  As a prep he was a standout at JSerra high school, a 3x All Trinity League selection.  Earned a baseball scholarship to Cal State Fullerton where he excelled as an outfielder for the Titans.  An All Big West selection he was selected in the 19th round of the MLB Draft by the Washington Nationals.  Clay will be finishing his communication studies degree at CSF while working with Elite.

JONATHAN KENNEDY: Player Devolopment Staff

Kennedy joined Elite in 2015, he assists with 8-14u levels of developmental teams and during Elite hitting sessions at UCI and Santa Ana.  As a prep player he was a part of a CIF Championship team at El Toro High School.  He went on to play in college at La Sierra University. JK thrives as a player development coach with Elite with knowledge in all areas of the game.  

ERIC HUTTING: Player Devolopment Staff

Hutting joined Elite in 2016, he assists with 8-14u levels of developmental teams and during Elite hitting sessions at UCI and Santa Ana. Eric is entering his first year as an assistant coach for the Cypress College baseball team. As a player he was an All-South Coast League baseball player (2012) and a four-year varsity letter winner (2009-2012) at Tesoro High School. He chose to play college baseball at Long Beach State. At Long Beach State, Hutting was a four year starting catcher and was a member of two NCAA regional teams (2014 and 2016). Hutting graduated with a B.A. in Communication Studies at Long Beach State. He is currently enrolled at Azusa Pacific University seeking a Master's degree in Physical Education.

MITCHELL HOLLAND: Assistant Hitting Coordinator

Holland joined Elite in 2016 and he assists at the Elite hitting sessions at UCI. Mitch is entering his first year as a graduate assistant at UC Irvine after finishing up his college career with the Anteaters in 2016. Prior to UCI, Mitch went to school at Mission Viejo High School and then on to Saddleback College. In 2014, he was awarded the Saddleback College Male Scholar Athlete of the Year and a Top 5 finalist in California. After Saddleback, he earned a baseball scholarship to play at UC Irvine where he was a two-time all-Big West first baseman selection. Holland is currently seeking a Master's degree in Business Administration.

DILLON BRYANT: Player Development Staff

Bryant joined Elite in 2017 and he assists with 8-14u levels of developmental teams and during Elite hitting sessions at UCI and Santa Ana. Dillon is entering his first year as a graduate assistant at Concordia University Irvine after finishing up his college career with the Eagles in 2016. Prior to CUI, Dillon went to school at Orange Lutheran High School and then on to San Diego State University for two years on a baseball scholarship before transferring to Concordia. Bryant is currently seeking a Master's degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration.
